Bacterial Air Vent

To chose the filter that best fit your needs you've to look at the "ID" inside diameter dimension because this is the quote that is normally used for assembling this part than inside that family you have to look for a filtering material that is suitable for your application.

The standard interference required for assembling is between 1 and 2 decimum of millimiter. Of course this can vary a lot depending on the raw material used and your specific application, for example in case of IV Catheter Vent normally you have to look for the OD outside diameter or the relevant connection.
