Based on the unique GVS design, our Speedflow® Baby IV filter is particularly suitable for specific applications such as Neonate IV therapy, Chemotherapy, Antibiotic therapy, Nutrient admixture, TPN and lipid solutions (1.2 µm), High accuracy drug delivery therapy (home infusion therapy, alternate-site infusion therapy), Portable pumps, PCA pumps and can also be used as a Syringe Filter.
The 0.25 cm² hydrophobic PTFE membrane in two vents allows fastest air elimination in any position, while 1.45 cm² hydrophilic membrane gives the highest flow rate for this class of products (more than 350 ml/h). Speedflow® Baby membranes and acrylic housing material comply with ISO 10993-1 and USP class VI-121° testing, and can be EtO, gamma, and e-beam sterilized.
Our PES Hi-Flo hydrophilic membrane is available 0.2 µm, 1.2 µm as well as we have available 0.2 positive and 5.0 µm. Our PTFE hydrophobic vents are 0.02 µm.
A low priming volume (<0.35ml) and high burst pressure (8.0 bar) are additional features of the GVS Speedflow® Baby on its non-vented version.
The wide variety of microbore IV tubing connectors for Inlet and Outlet (ranging from 2.0 to 3.0 mm) and Double Luer Lock (Female Luer Lock and Rotating Male Luer Lock) allow easy assembly of Speedflow® Baby.
