Are the materials used in your filters suitable for medical use?
Yes. All our filters are produced from medical grade plastics and filter screens/membranes. All of them have been tested according to ISO 9000 guidelines, and qualify as U.S.P. Class VI materials.
I found the filter I need in your catalogue, but what filter media will I find in that part?
Please contact us to find out what pore size screen or membrane is available for each filter design. Most parts are manufactured with standard materials which can be modified to meet your specific requirements.
I can't find the right size filter frame or body - does GVS work to customer requests?
Yes we do. Starting with a drawing, we can help you find out if the part can be manufactured, as well as the cost and lead times required to make part and mould.
What do you mean by "hydrophobic" and "hydrophilic?
A hydrophobic membrane allows air to pass through it but stop the passage of liquids. A hydrophilic membranes allows liquids to pass through, but removing unwanted particles, or other contaminants.
