GVS's Position on REACH

The new European REACH legislation*, and the impact it has on the future availability of chemicals, is an issue of vital importance for GVS, our customers , suppliers and the entire global chemical industry.
The GVS Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of injection-molded plastic filters for applications in the automotive, medical, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. According to what provided by REACH legislation, GVS is classified as "USER" of chemicals.

For more than 25 years, GVS has focussed particularly on innovating its production processes and constantly improving its products, developing the necessary technological skills to provide efficient support for its clients in developing their projects. To improve the protection of human health and the environment, GVS is actively supporting the objectives of REACH.

GVS first priority is to comply with the REACH regulations, as well as to ensure the supply of goods to us and our customers is not disrupted. Our teams are in place and committed to cooperating with our customers and suppliers to support the successful implementation of REACH. This includes coordinating the exchange of information across the supply chain - from suppliers and manufacturers to customers and end users.

The entire GVS organization, including our operations based in Europe, U.S., Brasil, China or other geographies, is committed and prepared to support the implementation of REACH as an effective legislation in the spirit of which it was designed - to protect human health and the environment by providing information across the supply chain supporting the safe use of chemicals and chemical substances.
